We ate beerand pizza..we made the server laugh when we both ordered the vegetarian pizza (loaded withspinach and lots of veg) with the addition of spicy salami and ham
we came back to hotel and watched their free movie channel while i tried to send blog.
Rosemary wanted to know the name of the very long tunnel through the mountain which just opened 2013. Hugenot toll tunnell. about five kilometers long. it connects the western cape to the eastern cape and to oudstroon! , before that one drove a very twisty bad road which took two days. or So we were told,.
We had stopped at Swollendam part of a detour imstead of going over the Montague pass which they were blasting. The road works here are as challenging as in BC.
But we are now at Knysna. apparently a holiday place..but like a mountain ski resort in the summer itis pretty deserted.
We are on a search for the church where her two brothers were christened. The family that harboured her mother attended with the husband of the couple standing as the Gpd Father. R wants to find the church records. Mosr of which have been transferred to a larger church.
