I imagine that it is the perfect car to attract robbers!
Rosemary is driving...and I am trying to navigate..wanted to travel over,the mountains and a high pass , driving 250 klicks instead of the direct route of 52. We got half way there and decided that it was not to,be done...So we arrived Stellanbosch by about 1300
One of the men from the hotel parked the car i the private car park...but eventually Rosemary felt brave enough to venture out again so we drove to a couple of Wineries..having drunk a lot of nice reds while with the french family I am into whites...nice chardonnays and chenin blancs..and one particular sweet wine,We bought some for the family we are visiting, related to rescue of Rosemary 's Mother. They have invited us to lunch. They apparently live near Knysna.
Stellinbosch is an interesting ,small, university town...large campus..lots of small speciality shops aand some great old houses converted into hotels..which is ours.
